Sunday's Keeping Up with the Kardashians drew a suddenly stark contrast between how exes Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were each dealing with the fall-out from their split.
While sister Kim Kardashian West spoke happily about Kourtney's renewed "fire," which included posing nude for a confident and sexy photoshoot before jetting off to Montana for some "mommy time," Disick seemed to spiral deeper into sadness.
And – eventually – all the way down.
At the episode's end, Khloé Kardashian told Kim that Disick had sent her a "really scary" text message, about how desolate and desperate he feels.
Khloé, unable to reach Kourtney, who was traveling, let Kim, mom Kris Jennerand sister Kylie Jenner listen in on her phone conversation with Disick.
She tried to talk him down between his audible sobs.
"I love her," Disick said of Kourtney, who he described as "beautiful." "But she doesn't love me."
Not true, Khloé said: Kourtney did still love him, though there were other issues involved.
"My life is officially over," Disick continued. "I just want it over."
