Shocking Moment Trekking Guide Saves Tourists from Being Buried Alive in Violent Rock Slide (Photo+Video)

An incredible video has emerged showing how a quick-thinking trekking guide prevented what could have been a great tragedy and saved tourists from being buried alive by a violent rock slide. The incident happened in the Argentinean Andes.

The clip shows the "Inout Adventure" troupe carefully walking along the edge of Aconcagua, the highest peak outside of Asia, when a light stream of rocks started to slide quickly down a crevice in the steep incline. The group's trekking guide in the black T-shirt then inspects the crevice, clearly sensing danger before frantically yelling and motioning for the trekkers to move away and stay back.

The quick thinking of the trekking guide saved lives

Seconds later, a raging river of rocks and dust surges rapidly down the peak, the trekkers scrambling for solid and stable ground.
No one was reported injured.
