The boy's story carried on major television and popular websites got international attention and plans are on the way for the boy to meet his Argentie hero, Messi.

The boy named Murtaza Ahmadi from war-torn Afghanistan has the backing of the Afghan Football Federation who have confirmed that Lionel Messi and Barcelona are preparing to meet him.
