Metuh Appears In Court Again, Judge Stands Down Bail Application

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, today, January 19, 2016, arrived the premises of the Abuja Federal High Court in handcuffs.
Metuh was taken to the court from Kuje prisons where he had been remanded since January 15.

The PDP spokesman is facing charges of money laundering and has been accused of accepting N400 million from former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki who is also being tried for corruption.
Dasuki is at the center of the massive money laundering investigation and is alleged to have supervised the looting of $2 billion in funds which were meant for the procurement of arms for Nigeria's military.
